I remember our fruitless search for wind turbine plans. We had decided that we wanted to build a wind generator because it would be the most cost effective way for us to generate electricity. When we started looking around for wind turbine plans we found quite a few that looked really good, but the problem was that they were way to complicated for us to read.

The heart of any renewable energy system is your off grid batteries, and the best way to keep them running smoothly is with a battery desulfator or nanopulser. Without them to store the energy produced by your solar panels and wind generator your system would be useless. Learning how to build wind generators was not that difficult once we found the right construction plans. Finding out what materials to use for the blades, where to get the generator from and how to put it all together proved rather interesting actually.

The main factor that affects how much Renewable Energy that is produced at our home is the weather. If the sun is shining our solar panels are working non-stop to charge our batteries. When the sun isn’t shining that’s a different story.
